FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: oil pipeline is shut off before pump, filling and discharge pipelines are drained by water filling through the pump cavity above the level of drain valves. Then in filling pipeline there drilled is one hole for plugs on the level of drain valve, and the other hole is drilled 80-100 mm higher. Head piece is inserted in each hole, through the lower piece head water is supplied by flexible hoses, and through the upper piece head water is drained with oil components to tanks of emergency leaks gathering, thus forming a hydraulic lock before the pump. The pump is dismantled and a new pump is mounted, hot works are performed, then oil pressure test is conducted under operating pressure and oil pipeline is put into operation.
EFFECT: possibility to reduce labour intensity and duration of works on pump replacement excluding adverse effect of clay plugs use.
