FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: intestine function-controlling biologically active food additive is prepared in the form of fruit plates consisting of plasticized substrate with, imbedded therein, monoglycerides, milled plant ingredients (in particular, senna leaves), and also flavoring and aromatizing substances. The substrate consists of natural honey supplemented with milled dried apricots, flax seeds, laminaria thallus, plantain leaves, dill fruits, citric acid, microcrystalline cellulose at proper ingredient proportion. Additive is prepared by milling and introducing plant and process ingredients into liquid substrate, cooking, stirring, and boiling away intermediate product in mixer, cooling and molding resulting paste into plates.
