FIELD: filtration of suspensions in chemical, hydrometallurgical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: plate-and-frame pressure filter consists of set of filter plates and frames mounted between thrust and pressure plates for longitudinal displacement; sediment discharge mechanism is made in form of rigid skeleton with vibration drive for shifting the skeleton over horizontal guides of bed and securing plates and frame on it in extended position. Plates, frame and pressure plate are kinematically interconnected by means of ladder-type members. EFFECT: complete discharge of sediment; increased throughput; reduced labour consumption in servicing. 3 cl, 5 dwg
