FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device represents assembled construction which is mounted on journal for rotation around the latter. Device has two bearing circular split sprockets coupled to each other by means of three supporting connecting beams positioned uniformly over circumference. Mechanical working mechanism is made as spring holder with cutting plate. Length of plate cutting edge is equal to length of generating line of journal surface being worked. Mechanical working mechanism is secured to one of supporting connecting beams. Two other supporting connecting beams carry bearing members installed for radial displacement. Stops for device installation on crankshaft journal are made as six thrust screws driven into holes of supporting connecting beams at an angle to device axis. At their end facing the journal thrust screws have seat with ball which rests upon crankshaft journal fillet. Such construction prevents disturbance of journal geometrical form and reduces material costs and overhaul period. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
