FIELD: restoration of crankshaft journals. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for restoration of crank- shaft journals after repair by surfacing and subsequent mechanical roughing. Electrode-tool in form of two circular flanges interconnected by number of axles positioned concentrically over circumference is mounted inside cylindrical chamber with collectors for electrolyte delivery and removal. Flanges consist of separate segments. Flexible current leads are connected to axles. Energy of electrolyte supplied under pressure serves as drive for electrode-tool rotation. Operating forming edges of electrode-tool are made as flexible carrying plate and strips of conducting fabric placed on rigid flexible nap made of non-conducting fiber and secured to carrying plate through its entire length. EFFECT: enlarged process capabilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
