FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is method of preparing 2-perfluoroalkyl-3 oxazolin-5-one of formula II, wherein n is integer of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 or 8; R represents substituents of formula (a) and (b) wherein L is hydrogen or halogen; M and Q are each independently hydrogen, halogen or C₁-C₄ haloalkyl; R₁, R₂ and R₃ are hydrogen; W is S based on aminonitrile. Method comprises reacting aminonitrile of formula III, wherein R is as defined above, with perfluoroacylating agent of formula IV, wherein n is as defined above; m is integer of 1 or 2; X is OR₁, Cl or O, and R₁ is hydrogen or C₁-C₆ alkyl provided that when X is O, m must be equal to 2, and when X is at or OR₁, then m must be equal to 1, in the presence of solvent and optionally in the presence of base for preparing perfluoroalkanesil aminonitrile intermediate product of formula I wherein R and n are as defined above. Method makes it possible to prepare new compounds which are effective agents against insects, mites and nematodes.
