SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of compounds of the formula (I) by interaction of compound of the formula (II) with compound of the formula (III) and a base in the presence of a solvent at increased temperature. This method ensures to synthesize compounds of 5-(alkoxymethyl)-2,3-pyridine carboxamide of the more purity as compared with known ones.
