FIELD: magnetic nondestructive test. SUBSTANCE: sensor has magnetic system consisting of two mutually perpendicular noncontacting U-shaped cores of equal height with flux-gate meters positioned in ends of poles. It also includes magnetizing windings. One of cores has convex jumper, while other, has concave jumper with similar radius of curvature. Magnetizing coils are secured to each other and fixed on one of cores. The second core is free to move in vertical plane in order to follow curvature of part being measured. Flux-gate meters are positioned along longitudinal axis of poles, flush with their ends. EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy. 3 dwg
