FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of operation implemented in partially united gas ducts with different temperature exhaust gas flows and regenerative heating of compressed working medium by residual heat of high temperature exhaust flow includes processes of compression of gaseous working medium in compressors, heating of compressed working medium, for instance, by combustion of fuel in combustion chamber, and expansion of heated working medium in turbines. Regenerative heating of entire working medium or its major part is carried out in high temperature exhaust flow after its expansion in turbines providing excess of consumption of heated working medium over consumption of cooled high temperature exhaust flow. Gas ducts is divided after regenerative heating or directly after compression. One of gas ducts has heated circuit of heat exchanger-regenerator and it communicates with inlet into additional turbine. Common low pressure compressor and additional turbine coupled with compressor form kinematic module. EFFECT: increased efficiency. 2 cl, 5 dwg
