FIELD: electroplating. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical and instrumentation engineering and is aiming at restoration of worn-out parts and units. In a method of electrochemically depositing coatings utilizing rubbing with rotary anode having porous coating as electrolyte carrier and simultaneous grinding of coupled part, process is conducted until ultrasonic emission of coupled parts appears, which is indicative of stabilization of average value of intensity of continuous constituent of acoustic emission and average amplitude and frequency of individual acoustic pulses. Method allows time of electrochemically rubbing coating to be reduced and increases working characteristics of coupled parts. Appropriate device is provided with strain sensors secured under springs of axis of revolution of part (cathode) and ultrasonic converter fixed by rigid spring on coupled part. Signal from converter is transmitted to broadband amplifier, to the output of which low-frequency and high-frequency filter inputs are parallel connected. On the output of low-frequency filter, signal of continuous constituent of acoustic emission is formed and transmitted to matching amplifier input, output of which is connected with analog-to-digital converter input, whereas output of the latter is connected to computer entry. On the output of high- frequency filter, signal of random sequence of acoustic pulses is formed and transmitted to matching amplifier input, to output of which peak detector and standard pulse shaper inputs are parallel connected. Peak detector output is connected to analog-to-digital converter input, output of which is connected to the second entry of computer. Output of pulse shaper is connected to the third entry of computer, to one of whose entries analog-to-digital converter output is also attached. Input of the latter is connected to matching amplifier output, input of which is connected with strain sensors. Computer control outputs are connected with inputs of process current source switch, cathode and electromotor drive controlling of pressing force on parts to be ground. EFFECT: accelerated process. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
