FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: surface coming in contact with wound has filaments of carboxymethyl cellulose capable in absorbing aqueous physiological salt solution with 0.9% concentration in the amount exceeding their own weight by a factor of 15 (according to results of test for absorption with free swelling) with formation of swelled transparent gel. Dressing material after the swelling with formation of transparent gel, preserves sufficiently fibrous character for its removal from wound as integral dressing material. Filaments of carboxymethyl cellulose may be used in treatment of traumatic surgical and chronic wounds. EFFECT: higher efficiency of material in treatment of traumatic, surgical and chronic wounds. 19 cl
