FIELD: separation of impurities with positive and negative fall velocity from polluted natural water and sewage. SUBSTANCE: device incorporates case housing thin-layer module in the form of horizontal pipes having slot perforation over their entire length placed in staggered order relative to each other with formation of clearance over outer contour. Intake pocket provides for feed of fluid to pipes. Pipes are fitted with bushings forming clearance over outer contour. Partition is mounted for vertical movement inside intake pocket. Device makes it possible to maintain sufficiently high effect of purification of polluted fluid independent of change of conditions of treatment thanks to possibility of adjustment of velocity of passing in upper and lower parts of tubular thin-layer module.
