SUBSTANCE: Z-section has flange in its cross-section with wall and at least one part of internal line of conjugation of flange with wall at least of one angle part of section forming angle by intersection of axes and flange and wall, and/or at least one part of internal line of flange of at least one angle part of section, and/or at least one part of external line of flange of at least one angle part of section, and/or at least one part of line of wall, and/or edge of at least one flange, and/or at least one of apexes of section are made in the form of fragment of oblique conical section of right circular cone. In this case, profound smoothness of transition on curve parts is provided with preservation of smoothness as rolls wearing, reduced cost of section manufacture due to reduced volume of work in section shaping during rolling, and increased wear resistance of rolling rolls. EFFECT: lower cost of section manufacture, higher adaptability to manufacture, reduced specific consumption of materials with preserved load-carrying capacity under conditions of longitudinal compression with nonsymmetrical axes, torsion, or bending. 32 cl, 24 dwg
