FIELD: rolling; applicable in railroad engineering. SUBSTANCE: tee rail has conjugation in cross-section of head and base with neck and at least one part of line of conjugation of at least head and/or base with neck forming angles by intersection of axes of neck, head and base, and/or at least one part of line of head, and/or neck, and/or base, and/or at least one edge of base are added in the form of fragment of oblique conical section of right circular cone. In this case, provision is made for profound smoothness of transition on curve parts with preservation of smoothness in roll wearing, reduced cost of rail manufacture due to reduced volume of work in shaping of rail in rolling and increased wear resistance of rolls. EFFECT: lower cost of rail manufacture, higher adaptability to manufacture, reduced specific consumption of materials with preservation of load-carrying capacity under conditions of lateral compressions, torsion or bending. 29 cl, 23 dwg
