FIELD: manufacture of building materials, more particularly constructional heat-insulating material of safety structures. SUBSTANCE: method comprises stirring determined amounts of water, cement and expanded clay aggregate to homogeneous consistency. Large granules of expanded clay aggregate fraction of 20-40 mm are first sieved, and determined amount of large granules of said fraction and water are fed into concrete mixer and stirred for 0.5 min, and determined amount of cement is then fed into concrete mixer, and concrete mixture is finally mixed to form homogeneous consistency for not more than 0.5 min. Components used per 1 cubic m of concrete are as follows: 65-85 kg of cement; 400-500 kg or expanded clay aggregate 20-40 mm fraction and 30-40 l of water. EFFECT: high heat-insulating properties and low cost price.
