FIELD: reconditioning of machine parts. SUBSTANCE: method of plasma sputtering of coatings onto parts with shape of bodies of revolution includes evacuation of gas in direction coaxial to plasma jet; blowing of part opposite side with inert gas and cooling of sputtered layer in part rotation. In this case, coating layer thickness is 0.3-0.5 mm. Coating layer is fused by reducing distance of sputtering and ceasing of powder supply with concurrent blowing of opposite side of part with argon at its flow rate of 1.2-2 cu. m/h for 5-10 s which is followed by supply of powder, setting of initial distance of sputtering, ceasing of supply of argon to part opposite side, and coating is sputtered up to required thickness. EFFECT: higher adhesion strength of plasma coating and reduced consumption of inert gas. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
