FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is used for protection of engineering structures erected on slopes in permafrost regions against deformations caused by shifting of dispersive ground matter. According to method, slots are cut in ground. Slots are then filled with dewatering material. Filling of slots is performed according to predetermined scheme. Filling of slots with specified material allows for control of physical and mechanical properties of ground matter for more reliable protection of engineering structures located on slopes in permafrost regions.
