FIELD: automatic maintenance of constant preset temperature of water delivered from water line to consumer. SUBSTANCE: automatic electric water heater has thermal energy accumulator including electric heating element located in main vessel whose cavity is connected to inlet water line and is fully filled with liquid and its vapor, auxiliary vessel whose cavity is hydraulically connected in its low point with low point of main vessel and upper point is brought in communication with atmosphere, as well as heat exchange element which is in contact with thermal energy accumulator and is provided with cold and hot water pipe lines. Thermal energy accumulator includes heat accumulator where electric heating element and temperature sensor are arranged; signal of temperature sensor controls operation of electric heating element through logic unit; thermal energy accumulator is also provided with mixer to which cold and hot water pipe lines and outlet pipe line are connected through flow regulators. Heat exchange element is made in form of recuperative heat exchanger. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities of electric water heater. 1 dwg
