FIELD: gas- dynamic devices used in experimental barrel ballistic mounts. SUBSTANCE: gas-dynamic pressure source uses a hollow body with consumable hole. The body cavity is divided into two compartments by a partition. The compartment that is distant from the consumable hole accommodates an explosive charge with an initiating device, and the compartment that is nearest to the consumable hole - a powder charge. EFFECT: reduced time of ignition of powder charge, enhanced stability of intraballistic parameters of the pressure source. 1 dwg, 1 ex
