FIELD: measurement of X-ray, gamma and corpuscular radiation. SUBSTANCE: proposed pyroelectric detector has capacitor 1 made from polarized pyroelectric with plates 2 mated with entire surface to plates of 4 of capacitors 3 fabricated from non-polarized pyroelectric with outer plates 4. Unmated plates 4 are electrically interconnected by means of conductor 5. Polarization vector of pyroelectric 8 filling up capacitor 1 is perpendicular to its plates 2. Electric leads-out 7 between which load resistor 6 is placed are linked to mated plates 2 of polarized capacitor and plates 4 of capacitors 3 on both sides. Size of sensitive element in direction of arrow 9 of radiation propagation is chosen much smaller, by one order at least, then length of free path of radiation in pyroelectric. EFFECT: increased sensitivity and simplified design of pyroelectric detector. 1 dwg
