FIELD: testing and diagnostics of automatic control systems. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preliminary determination of time of test of control system, in determination of nominal value of tested parameter of unit. With this in mind testing signal is fed to input of control system, integration of input and output signals of tested object is started at moment of feed of testing signal. Obtained evaluations of signals are fed to inputs of divider, output signal of divider is fed to non-inverting input of adder. Signal minimal by modulus is obtained by change of voltage across second input of adder, voltage generated across second input of adder is recorded as nominal value of tested parameter of dynamic unit. Serviceable control system is replaced with tested one and identical testing signal is fed to input of dynamic unit. All above-stated operations are carried out and value of output signal of adder is used to determine existence of faults. Device for realization of method includes initiation circuit, source of testing signal, unit forming nonlinear function, two multipliers, two integration units, divider, amplifier, adder, circuit of tolerance check.
