FIELD: electrical engineering, power supply, in particular, static compensator of redundant reactive power in mains power supply. SUBSTANCE: device has closed-circuit magnetic core, main winding, compensation winding and control winding, which is switched by thyristor unit. Control winding is designed as two layers, which height is equal to height of main winding. Devices for suppression of high-order harmonics in reactor current are connected to in parallel to one layer. They are designed as parallel circuits, which are formed by thyristor units and current-clipping chokes. EFFECT: suppression of high-order harmonics in reactor current in main winding down to tolerance level. 3 cl, 7 dwg
