FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, equipment for treating apples and grape. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has sectioned microwave chambers 1, conveyor 2, gravitational chute positioned at down end of conveyor and adapted for accumulating juice. Tank with running water and conveyor belt washing brushes is positioned at lower end of conveyor. Upon washing, fruit such as whole apples or grape clusters, is directed through sections of microwave chambers 1 by conveyor. Whole apples are treated for 3.0-3.5 min and grape clusters are treated for 1.0-2.5 min in microwave chambers, which may be switched off or disconnected, when necessary.
