SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agricultural machine building, in particular to a method and equipment for extracting juice from grapes. In the grape juice extraction method, which includes feeding grape clusters into a loading hopper and squeezing juice, the juice is squeezed in two steps: at the first stage, a primary soft pressing is performed in the loading hopper by crushing grape berries by means of a horizontal shaft installed in the loading bunker with pointed fingers arranged on it and fixed on the inner wall of the loading hopper with gap of 2–2.5 mm by shear blades, with possibility of pointed fingers passage between shearing plates, crushing of grapes and subsequent separation and milling of pulp, and at second step, squeezed mash pulp is pressed through pressing in extrusion unit, comprising a cylinder having a screw, a sieve chamber and funnels for collection of juice. Grape juice extracting device contains a grape pressing assembly consisting of a loading hopper arranged before the extrusion unit and a drive. Inside the loading hopper a horizontal shaft is installed, on which pointed fingers are mounted. Shearing plates are installed on the inner wall of the loading hopper with a gap between them of 2–2.5 mm with the possibility of passage between the incisive plates of pointed fingers. Extrusion unit includes a cylinder with a screw, a sieve chamber and a funnel for collecting juice, wherein the drive of the horizontal shaft and the screw is driven by an electric motor.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides, during implementation, achieving a technical result consisting in improvement of the quality of grape juice by providing two-stage juice extraction, wherein at the first stage a soft mode is carried out by crushing grapes with subsequent separation and milling of pulp, and at the second stage - by rigid squeezing of milled pulp by pressing.
