SUBSTANCE: method involves conducting cyclic loading functional tests including measuring middle distance race time and sprint time; determining on the basis of obtained data endurance factor; additionally allowing individual under test to run long distance at different speeds in predetermined rhythm and at predetermined time interval; determining distance covered by individual under test during this time interval; determining endurance factor sufficient for acyclic exercises from expression: , where t(1) is time during which individual covers long distance at predetermined rhythm, t(av) is time required for covering by individual of middle distance, t(sh) is time required for covering sprint distance, n is quotient of middle distance and sprint distance lengths, n(1) quotient of long distance and sprint distance lengths. Method allows individual's endurance to be determined in wider range of modes: in aerobic and aerobic-anaerobic modes of operation of organism.
