FIELD: medicine, in particular, neurology and neurosurgery. SUBSTANCE: instrument may be used for treatment of diseases of central nervous system. Instrument has metal guide tube with cutting strings. Tube is coated with dielectric. Metal rod coated with dielectric is positioned inside tube. Four metal strings are secured to ends of rod and tube on operating end of instrument. During longitudinal movement of rod relative to tube strings are bent, thus forming four semirings arranged perpendicularly to one another. Monopolar coagulation is delivered to end of instrument. At its end tube has adjusting nut with slot, thread and longitudinal slot into which rod pin is drawn. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
