FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, radio frequency electrosurgical equipment, mainly endoscopic surgical instruments. SUBSTANCE: electrosurgical device has a surgical instrument with electrode system 2 connected to radio-frequency oscillator 3, impedance measuring unit 4 and control unit 5 connected to form impedance main feedback of oscillator 3 with electrode system 2. To enhance reliability, one or several temperature-sensitive elements of the zone of operation and/or other points (6,7,8) of the body of operated patient are introduced in the device. The temperature- sensitive elements are connected to the input of the respective correcting control channels in control unit 5. The control unit correcting channels are made for limiting the power applied to the electrode system irrespective of the impedance level. Control unit 5 uses the cascade circuit and has master controller 9 coupled to the control channels, as well as comparison element 12 and power regulator 10 connected to its output. Transducer of applied power (11) installed for sending a signal to comparison element 12 is connected to the electrode system. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of device control. 1 cl, 1 dwg, 2 ex
