FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves shaping electric surgical instrument output signal including its production by means of high frequency oscillator, amplification and following delivery to biological object. Excitation control impulses are built with the oscillator and then transformed by means of oscillation circuit into its free damping oscillations. The biological object is included into the oscillation circuit. The excitation impulses are used for setting the damping oscillations repetition frequency. The device has high frequency oscillator connected to amplifier input which output is connected to instrument via galvanic bypass unit using working cable. The device has control unit having comparison unit and passive electrode. Impulse duration control unit is mounted between the oscillator and amplifier. The galvanic bypass unit is designed as choke coil with transformer link to one of outputs of which working cable and instrument are connected in series and to the end of which screening braiding of the working cable and passive electrode are connected to build up an oscillation circuit with the choke coil. The device also has voltage amplitude gage the output of which is connected to high frequency oscillator and to comparison unit that is connected to impulse duration control unit in its turn.
