FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has power generator, electrode holder, passive electrode, compressor 4, control unit, ultrasonic oscillator, spray chamber and main pipes. The electrode holder has body with control units, socket for fastening working instruments, connection units, heater for heating air-and-drop mixture and canal for supplying the air-and-drop mixture to surgical treatment zone. Air chamber having gage for determining working instrument temperature is manufactured in the internal cavity of electrode holder body in distal part of the coaxially longitudinal axis of the electrode holder and socket for fastening working instruments. Working instrument temperature control is used for estimating biological object temperature in the treatment zone in indirect way by means of calculations.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of coagulation; reduced caking on working instrument.
