FIELD: oxidation catalysts. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying palladium on metal carrier and is distinguished by that carrier is in the form of brass grid that is heated to 400-500 C and cooled, and palladium is applied electrolytically at 40 to 70 C and anode current density 0.1-0.2 A/sq. dm, electrolyte being composed of 4-6 g/l of palladium chloride and 15-17 g/l of ammonium chloride. Catalyst is dried and activated at 350-400 C. EFFECT: increased specific surface of catalyst and reduced power requirements. 3 tbl, 2 ex
