FIELD: procedures of separation of fine-dispersed and ultra-dispersed powders. SUBSTANCE: the method of separation of powder particles is based on joint action of pneumoinertia and electric separation, the first one is conducted in a rotating ascending current of gas and powder mix and precipitation of particles of this powder is accomplished by means of their charging by a silent discharge with medium of current density of (0,5-50)•104 A/m2. The device for the method has a chamber, pipe connections, charging and precipitating electrodes, as well as a high-voltage power source; the inlet pipe connection is installed from the bottom and the outlet pipe connection from the top of the chamber. The charging electrodes are made in the form of points of semiconductor material and positioned on a cylinder element. The precipitating electrodes have the shape of a multiple spiral and fluted section for vibration from an electromagnetic exciter. Each element of the precipitating exciter. Each element of the precipitating system of electrodes is connected to an individual container through flexible hoses. The high-voltage power source, comprising the generating and multiplying parts, is positioned inside the turret carrying the point components.
