FIELD: treatment of water to remove oil products, oils, fats, proteins, surfactants. SUBSTANCE: flotator has body rectangular in plan with, paired parallel partitions, between which perforated pipelines are located for supply of water-air-mixture; mechanism for withdrawal of foam with foam collector and unit for discharge of treated water with receiving pocket. Paired parallel partitions are made with benches-deflectors whose planes are located above perforated pipelines and perpendicular to axes of pipeline holes. Deflectors may be made on partitions in form of wedges or truncated wedges whose lower faces are perpendicular to axes of pipeline holes, and bases are combined with partition plane. EFFECT: higher water treatment effect due to producing of finer air bubbles and uniform saturation of treated water with air bubbles. 3 cl, 3 dwg
