FIELD: equipment for processing of industrial and municipal sewage water for removal of protein, fat, oil products, surfactants and other contaminants.
SUBSTANCE: flotation apparatus has casing rectangular in plan, with paired parallel plates, perforated pipelines arranged between said plates and adapted for supplying of air-water mixture, baffling steps positioned above perforated pipelines and adjoining to paired parallel plates, froth removal mechanism with froth collector, waste water discharge unit equipped with receptacle pocket, and inclined transverse partitions, with length of their horizontal projection in direction of inclination being equal to or exceeding space between pipeline perforations. Upper edges of transverse partitions are at the level of upper edges of paired plates and lower edges are offset downward relative to lower edges of paired parallel plates. Transverse partitions arranged in space between two paired parallel plates are inclined in one direction and transverse partitions arranged in space between side walls of flotation apparatus casing and paired parallel plates proximal to flotation casing wall are inclined in opposite direction.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in water purification owing to uniform saturation of the entire volume of water under purification process with air bubbles.
