FIELD: equipment for processing of sewage water and removal of proteins, fats, oil products, surfactants and other similar contaminants.
SUBSTANCE: flotation apparatus has casing rectangular in plan, with paired parallel plates and perforated pipes arranged between paired plates and equipped with vortex chambers positioned at inlet end of perforated pipes. Vortex chambers are tangentially connected with feeding pipeline. Apparatus is further provided with purified water discharge unit, froth removal mechanism, and froth collector. Vortex chamber casing is made in the form of truncated cone, whose narrowed part is connected to perforated pipe. Additional cone is positioned inside vortex chamber casing on truncated cone base defining vortex chamber cover, with apex of additional cone being directed toward perforated pipe.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in purifying of sewage water owing to uniform saturation of the entire volume of water under process with air bubbles of homogeneous size.
