SUBSTANCE: the ball cock has a body, spherical plug with a rotating drive placed in the seat packings, and at least two disk springs. Each spring is engageable with the packing and body. Contact surfaces of each spring are made in the form of annular edges of larger and smaller diameters. The edge of the larger diameter is formed by intersection at an acute angle of the inner tapered surface of the spring with the outer cylindrical surface. The edge of the smaller diameter is formed by intersection at an acute angle of the outer tapered surface of the spring with the inner cylindrical surface. The axes of the cylindrical surfaces coincide with the longitudinal axis of the body. EFFECT: enhanced leak-proofness of the seat- plug pair. 10 cl, 5 dwg
