FIELD: metallurgy, namely process for making wire having high strength, ductility and corrosion resistance from spheroidal graphite cast iron. SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of heating rods from spheroidal graphite cast iron, subjecting them to multiple rotary forging, subsequent multiple drawing and annealing. Rods are heated until 800 C - 900 C. Multiple rotary forging of rods is realized at draft 1.1-1.52. Multiple drawing is performed at draft 1.08-1.45 at temperature 500 C - 700 C. Annealing is performed at 800 C - 1000 C for time period 0.5-36 hours. EFFECT: enhanced strength, ductility and corrosion resistance of wire. 2 cl, 2 tbl, 1 ex
