FIELD: shipbuilding; submerged vessels breaking ice cover by resonance method. SUBSTANCE: during motion of submerged vessel at resonance speed, boundary layer of liquid is blown off upper portion of ship's skin by means of pump located inside vessel in water flow passage. Water suction portion of this passage is located in fore extremity of vessel and outlet of passage is located at trough of flexural gravitational wave.
