DRILLABLE PACKER-PLUG Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for carrying out isolation operations at overhaul repair of wells. Device has sealing member and reaming cone with fixing serration in surface. Cone is connected by tie-rod with actuator of destructible member. Device is provided with setting pipes and mounting pipe union which is adapted for interaction with string of setting pipes. Suspension bush is connected with string of setting pipes. Setting sleeve is also provided and this is adapted for interaction with suspension bush. Destructible member is sheared when setting sleeve rests against bottom of bush at upward movement of reaming cone. Located between mounting pipe union and sealing member is wire stuffing. Mounting pipe union, wire stuffing of sealing member and reaming cone are made of easily drilled material. Aforesaid embodiment of drillable packer-plug is of simplified design.
