FIELD: oil producing industry; applicable in tight separation of separated intervals of well, for instance, in isolation work. SUBSTANCE: device has setting tool including cylindrical body separated by partition into two chambers, one chamber being under atmospheric pressure and the other being filled with fluid and accommodates piston with rod; bypass valve and packer. Bypass valve is installed in partition and is actuated by excessive pressure in well. Packer has mandrel connected through shear member with piston rod. Mandrel external surface is engageable with sleeve coated with sealing member. EFFECT: higher reliability and durability of packer. 2 dwg
