FIELD: heating of water and other fluid media in systems with gravity and forced circulation of heated medium. SUBSTANCE: induction heater of fluid media has flat ferromagnetic core with rods with primary winding connected to A C source and conducting secondary winding inductively coupled to primary winding via core and used as heat exchanger. Secondary winding is made from tubular members connected to collectors and forming closed circuits around each rod of core, tubular members are placed in plane of turns of primary winding. It is proposed to manufacture tubular members in the form of half-turns, each half-turn embracing at least one rod of core, and to make collectors in the form of sections of tubes parallel to rods of core. Rods of core and turns of primary winding should be positioned in mutually perpendicular vertical planes.
