SUBSTANCE: reactor has two legs of magnetic core, working winding integrated with control winding, additional or signal winding put on legs of magnetic core. Commutator made of capacitor and diodes is connected in parallel to sections of additional low-voltage winding of controlled reactor. With emergence of network voltage across working winding of reactor its boosted running-out to rated condition is ensured by additional saturation of magnetic core from pulses of charge current of capacitor through diodes and proper sections of low-voltage winding of reactor.
