FIELD: optics, mounting of couplings of optical communication cables. SUBSTANCE: unit of mechanical attachment of wires of armor of optical cable has intracone metal bushing and current tap support made integral with it. Intracone bushing has central hole with conical section and protrusion with thread on outer surface. It joins armor cover of optical cable by means of conical insert and coupling nut with rest on stepped internal surface interacting with butt of inert. Support of current tap of each unit of mechanical attachment of armor has additional conical hole and strap with conical protrusion employed to fix wires of ground conductor under force action. EFFECT: increased reliability of carrying off to ground of currents induced by thunderstorm or in armor of optical cable exposed to electromagnetic radiation. 10 dwg
