FIELD: baking industry, in particular, tunnel-type bakery oven. SUBSTANCE: bakery oven has tunnel-type baking chamber, conveyor hearth with working and idle runs, and heating system. Heating system has fire box, connecting gas conduits, upper front and rear, lower front and rear U-shaped channels formed of heating tube bundles extending in direct and countercurrent flow direction relative to direction of motion of working run of conveyor hearth. Bundles of heating tubes are connected with their inlet parts to distributing collectors. Upper front and rear U-shaped channels are provided with upper single distributing collector. Lower front and rear U-shaped channels are provided with lower single distributing collector, respectively. Gates are positioned at inlet ends of heating tubes in upper and lower distributing collectors. Inlet ends of heating tubes of upper and lower U-shaped channels are positioned so that heating tube bundle extending in direct flow course relative to direction of motion of conveyor hearth working run is positioned closer to conveyor hearth than countercurrent flow heating tube bundle. Such construction allows heat supply to baking zone of baking chamber to be regulated, with increased precision and temperature mode of baking process at initial stage to be optimized.
