VACUUM CLEANER WITH LAMP WITHIN CLEANING MEMBER (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning equipment. SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner has lamp positioned within cleaning member. Lamp is not overheated and is adapted for illuminating zone in front of cleaning member for removal of dust and garbage particles. Reflector is mounted in lower casing defining nozzle with suction pipe for sucking dust or garbage particles. Window is positioned at front part of reflector and lower casing is adapted for illuminating zone in front of it by light reflected by reflector. Reflector and window are fixed in lower casing by connecting parts. Lamp is of filament lamp type, made tubular and arranged in first and second clamps connected to electric wires and fixed in connecting members. Clamps are extending into closed zone defined by reflector, window and connecting parts. According to one version, clamps are formed as sockets and secured under connecting members by set of petals which are arranged in symmetry between reflector and window of lower casing. Such construction prevents lamp from overheating and eliminates the risk of ignition. EFFECT: increased cleaning efficiency by improved illumination of dusty area in front of cleaning member and simplified construction. 6 cl, 6 dwg
