FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner has cyclone-type dust collector for catching contaminants from dust-laden air sucked through suction brush. Dust collector has upper cover, first and second cyclone-type receivers and lower cover. First cyclone-type collector centrifugally separates from air flow and catches large contaminant particles. Second cyclone-type receiver arranged inside first receiver is adapted for separating from air flow and catching of small dust particles and is equipped with small openings, through which air is directed from first receiver into second receiver. Access to contaminants accumulated in first and second receivers is provided through lower cover. Vacuum cleaner is equipped with device for restricting back flow in order to prevent contaminants from reversal from lower cover. Lower cover has pivot pin for pivot attachment of lower cover with its one side to lower end of first receiver, and locking device for connecting lower cover with its other side to cyclone receiver and for disconnecting therefrom. Small and large contaminant particles are separated from air flow in ordered manner depending upon particle size. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency. 5 cl, 7 dwg
