FIELD: treatment of cardiovascular diseases. SUBSTANCE: method is based on supply of biological liquid to irradiation zone by several flows at different speed and in different directions. Liquid is mixed with created vortex flows when moving through irradiation zone. Device for ultraviolet irradiation includes vessel. Thresholds, partitions and point projections are made on internal surface of vessel body. Thresholds are made at acute angles not exceeding 45 dwg. to longitudinal axis of vessel. Height of Thresholds is within the range of not more than half the height of vessel flow section. Partitions separating the inlet flow of liquid near inlet connecting pipe and point projections producing the eddy touch plates with their tops. EFFECT: enhanced irradiation efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
