FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: windshield wiper has blade 1, parallelogram mechanism consisting of turning lever 5 and additional lever 6 whose upper ends are hinge-connected on plate 3 with eyes 4, and lower ends are installed for rotation of car body, respectively, on turning axle 7 with drive and on fixed axle 8. Windshield wiper mechanism has additional lever 2 arranged in eyes of axle, long arm of lever being hinge-connected with blade 1 and small end is rigidly connected with turning lever 5 at one side of axle by tie-rod 8 passing through eye 10 found on plate and guide rollers 11, and at other side, by pull-back spring 13. Drive provides vibratory movement of turning lever 5 through axle 7. With parallelogram mechanism deflecting from axis, tie-rod 9 straightens out and turns lever 2, making spring 13 extend and lever 2 with blade 1 reciprocate. EFFECT: enhanced safety on road owing to provision of reliable cleaning of windshield glass by one stroke of turning lever. 2 cl, 3 dwg
