FIELD: manufacture of building materials; cutting and forging of metal rolled stock; briquetting of materials, oil and juice pressing. SUBSTANCE: hand press has bed frame with mould mounted on it, ladder-type mechanism of pressing drive, stick, connecting rod and slide block in guide. Slide block is made in form of articulated rod whose guide is provided with stop and is fitted with snubber articulated with connecting rod through shackle. Connecting rod consists of sliding bearing which is common for axles of shackle hinges and two inclined sections of pressing mechanism provided with lateral rods one of which is mounted at height corresponding to stop fitted on slide block guide. Besides that, press bed frame may be provided with bar screen in form of dead roller table. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
