FIELD: railway transport; freight car brakes. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic part of railway vehicle brake system has main air line. Each of two ends of main air line is connected with angle cock. Each angle cock is connected with connecting hose. Main air line is connected also with t-pipe communicating with disconnecting valve. The latter is connected with MAIN LINE union of air distributor two-chamber reservoir. STANDBY RESERVOIR union of two-chamber reservoir of air distributor is connected by at least one air line with at least one standby reservoir. AIR DISTRIBUTOR automatic operation union is connected with union of at least one pressure relay, pressure relay union being connected with middle chamber of this pressure relay. BRAKE CYLINDER automatic operation union communicates with at least two brake cylinders. Third union of above-indicated pressure relay communicating with its lower chamber is placed in communication with at least one standby reservoir. BRAKE CYLINDER union of air distributor two-chamber reservoir communicates with at least one additional reservoir. The latter communicates with union of at least one pressure relay, this union being placed in communication with operating chamber of this pressure relay. Two-chamber reservoir of air distributor is connected with main part and with main line part of air distributor. Inner diameter of at least one air line connecting BRAKE CYLINDER union of air distributor two-chamber reservoir with at least one additional reservoir lies within 0.1 mm and 300 mm. EFFECT: increased braking efficiency of railway vehicle and provision of rational design of pneumatic part of railway vehicle brake system. 12 cl, 6 dwg
