FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: brake rigging has vertical levers hinge connected with brake beam braces. Fixed skates with brake shoes are installed on brake beams. Lower ends of vertical levers are hinge connected by tie-bar. One end of these levers is hinge connected by its upper end with shackle whose end is hinge connected with dead point bracket of brake rigging secured on overspring beam of freight car two axle bogie. Brake beams are suspended from unsprung beams of bogie by means of hangers. At least one of members of at least one of brake beams is mechanically coupled with additional supporting member whose other end is mechanically coupled with unsprung part of bogie. EFFECT: increased service life of brake shoes owing to guaranteed and complete withdrawal of brake shoes from wheel roll surface when is released. 5 cl, 2 dwg
